Welcome to the National Association of Accessibility Consultants (NAAC). Based in Washington, D.C. the NAAC is the leading professional membership association seeking to promote the highest standards in all matters related to accessibility through information, knowledge, and connectivity. NAAC achieves its goal by offering online technical chat rooms, governmental agency updates, technical publications, ADA products, certifications, education and training, online webinars, governmental representation and advocacy, members client networking opportunities, employment postings, and the most extensive online resource library on all matters related to accessibility.

Our organization is made up of governmental officials, engineers, architects, building inspectors, building contractors, ADA - UFAS - 504 Title V, VII coordinators, attorneys as well as other honorary members of the public and related organizations interested in providing accessible products, design, consulting, and construction solutions.

CODE OF ETHICS

Members shall be competent, knowledgeable, and strive to maintain the highest standards in the profession by abiding with all applicable laws (,) as well as by staying informed of all current developments in the applicable laws.

Members shall aim to maintain the highest quality, precision, and effectiveness in their product.

Members shall act with utmost values of honor, integrity, dignity, and respect.

Members shall promote accessibility, universal design, and a barrier free world.

Members shall avoid fraudulent communications , and shall not make misrepresentations or false statements.

In all communications of matters of law, members shall strive to maintain the utmost accuracy and correctness, doing so through attending continuing education courses, and performing ongoing in-house research.

During all communications of facts, members shall strive to maintain the utmost accuracy, doing so through use of empirical methods, protocols for measurement tools, other precision surveying, and inspection instruments.

Members shall avoid conflicts of interest in their professional relationships at all times, by performing the necessary research required to determine possible conflicts.

Members shall always follow code of ethics, and should consult it whenever necessary to resolve any doubt as to the appropriate course of action.
